Definition: 'Return' is defined as the action of giving back the item purchased by the Buyer to the Seller on the DRISHTIKART Platform. Following situations may arise:
1. Item was defective.
2. Item was damaged during the Shipping.
3. Products was / were missing.
4. Wrong item was sent.
5. Return could also result in refund of money in most of the cases.
Only defective/damaged/wrong products sent, or if you are unsatisfied with product size or quality, will be accepted for returns/refunds. However, orders that includes items such as Contact Lenses or customised Lenses for any Eyeglass or Sunglass including free lenses etc are not eligible for return, except for damaged/defective/wrong products.
Users must consider the product prices while judging its quality and keep their expectations accordingly. Because quality of products always match with its prices. Users are advised/requested not to place any casual orders and should check product specifications carefully and choose their eyewear size sensibly before placing orders by referring to the "Size Guide" in product details page or by contacting us for any size related assistance.
Users need to file a return or contact us within 7 (seven) days from the date of delivery for being eligible for the return. Only those products will be eligible for return which are received by us within 15 (fifteen) days from the day return is initiated.
DRISHTIKART retains the right to examine whether the product returned is different from what ordered or is defective/damaged and based on the verification, DRISHTIKART will either reship or replace the product to the User.
In case the returned product is examined to be defective or damaged or different, then DRISHTIKART will provide full refund or replace the product to the same shipping address of the User, free of cost, subject to the availability of stock of the product.
In case the returned product is not defective/damaged/different, but User finds that he/she has ordered a wrong size by mistake or there is quality issue, then Drishtikart will issue refund after deducting the forward shipping charges and User will also have to bear the return shipping charges. The same shall be informed to the User through his/her registered email.
If the delivery fails due to any reason, the order can be cancelled.
User can cancel the order for items that aren't shipped/dispatched yet and also for items which have already been dispatched until delivery.
The amount paid by the user, if received by DRISHTIKART, will be refunded to the user. However courier/shipping charges (as per standard/applicable courier charges) will be deducted if the customer raises a cancellation request after the order is shipped.
However if order is cancelled solely because of user's mistake in placing order or user has placed an incorrect order for wrong products, then amount paid by the user, if received by DRISHTIKART, will be fully refunded to user's Drishtikart wallet or to user's original payment method after deducting payment gateway charges.
Orders that contain products/items which requires processing or customisation (example Contact Lenses or Lenses for any Eyeglass or Sunglass) cannot be cancelled after 24 hours of order placement. Because such products needs to be processed and customised, which requires fair amount of time and incurs cost. So the process has to start as early as possible to ensure that you get the delivery on time
For such products, we have kept a waiting period of 24 hours from the time of order placement, for customers to decide and cancel order if required. So once the waiting period of 24 hours is over, DRISHTIKART will start processing the order for you and then the order cannot be cancelled after the processing starts.
Drishtikart will ship the replacement within 03 days after recieving the returned product back from the customer, to the same shipping address of the User, free of cost, subject to the availability of stock of the product. Once replacement has been shipped, it might take 5-7 working days for the replacement to reach the customer.
Howwever, if order is undelivered due to customer's fault (such as refused to accept delivery or provided invalid/incomplete address or shared wrong delivery OTP etc), then shipment will return to origin. Refund if eligible, will be processed only after the RTO shipment reaches our address. For such undelivered orders, customer will have to pay the shipping cost if we have to reship the order again.
When is a return of an item not possible?
DRISHTIKART cannot accept returns of item(s) in the following cases :
1. When an item is damaged because of use or when it is not in the same condition as you received it.
2. When any consumable item has been used or installed.
3. When anything is missing from the package you've received including price tags, labels, original packing, freebies & accessories
4. When non-returnable items are involved such as Lenses for any Eyeglass or Power Sunglass or Contact Lens or Eyeglass/Sunglass that includes free lenses etc
5. When items are tampered with or have missing serial numbers
Only those products which are returned from the customers as per the acceptable return policy and for which the replacement is not possible, will be eligible for refund
In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error in pricing or product information, DRISHTIKART may, at its discretion, either contact the customer for instructions or cancel the order and notify the customer of such cancellation. In such cases DRISHTIKART will refund the paid amount to the customer (only for which the payment has already been received).
In case the payment mode of the order is Online (credit/debit card/net banking/UPI) the amount will be refunded through NEFT or to customer's original payment account from which amount was paid.
Refund will be processed within 03 working days from the date of request for refund and it might take 3-5 working days to reflect in customer's account.
In case the payment mode of the order is offline (COD) the refund will be through NEFT

Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all NEFT details provided is accurate and up-to-date. Any errors or issues arising from incorrect details will not be the responsibility of Drishtikart.
